Description
Rough Diamonds is a gripping eight-part crime drama set in Antwerp’s iconic diamond district.
The story follows Noah Wolfson, who has been estranged from his ultra-Orthodox Jewish family for over a decade. Following his brother’s tragic suicide, he returns home with his young son in tow, only to find his family's business on the brink of collapse, entangled with the Albanian mafia, and under investigation by the authorities.
Having traded his religious roots for a life within London’s criminal underworld, Noah realizes he must help get the business back on track or see his family lose everything. So he steps back into the traditional world he left behind, navigating the dangerous waters of crime, internal family conflicts, and a relentless financial crimes prosecutor.
Rough Diamonds masterfully intertwines themes of tradition, modernity, and the struggle to protect one’s legacy amidst external threats and internal strife.
