Description
The 11th Body is a gripping crime thriller that plunges detective Iris Abramov into a deadly web of gang warfare, betrayal, and buried family secrets, all while managing a messy divorce and her father's worsening dementia.
When an extra cadaver appears in Haifa's Technion Medical University lab, Iris is sent to investigate. Her partner Shalom dismisses it as a mistake, but Iris suspects foul play. She uncovers a second unidentified corpse, a missing medical student linked to local mobsters, and a vanished cadaver.
Iris discovers the lab is used to "launder" bodies tied to a brutal turf war between the Bruchian and Hijazi crime families. As violence erupts in Haifa, Iris delves deeper into the conflict as her personal life unravels.
Determined to seek justice, Iris exposes a conspiracy linking the murders to a real estate project in her childhood neighbourhood. This puts her and her family in grave danger.
The 11th Body masterfully weaves personal and professional conflicts, delivering a riveting tale of loyalty, betrayal, gentrification, and justice. Each episode reveals new mysteries, ensnaring viewers in a high-stakes narrative where every character harbors secrets and the body count rises.
