Programme Overview
Description
One of the world’s great truths about being a parent is that the grown-ups you end up socializing most with are not your friends or your family, but the parents of your kids' friends —no matter how little you have in common or how much you can’t stand them.
How To Dad centers on four fathers - utterly different from each other, practically enemies when it comes to many things - randomly brought together by their preschool kids’ kindergarten and weekly ballet class. While their little ones practice their bar exercises and pliés in the studio, our mismatched dads develop an unconventional discussion group that meets every Wednesday next door. Small talk, banter, and - occasionally - heated exchanges cover a multitude of topics, including upbringing, personal role models, modern couple concepts, and annoying gender clichés.
But soon this diverse quartet discover they have one thing in common: an unexpected enthusiasm for dance that is ignited when their children's ballet teacher announces there will be a performance at the end of the course.
