What if you could take your favorite hobby and make it a profession? In The Wonderful World of Crafting, passionate hobbyists put everything on the line to pursue their dreams of having a career in their crafts. We’ll follow their crafting journey from their humble hopes in the garage all the way to their surprise success on the Craft Fair floor.
In each episode, a presenter and expert will meet and follow the journey of three ambitious British crafters each obsessed with a different hobby craft ranging from quilting, pottery, and metalwork. The hosts will help the crafters improve their product and skills through inspiring meetings and strenuous workshops. This will then all culminate in a visually stunning Craft Fair where each crafter will sell their wares and strive for success.
A cast of colorful crafters will showcase their eccentric skills and behaviors, but will also reveal their relatable hopes and fears as they leap out of their comfort zones to realize their dreams. Human drama will naturally emerge as the daunting number of tasks threaten to overwhelm the amateur crafters. Yet tensions rarely get that high as seeing these skilled craftspeople at work offers a soothing and cozy experience.
