Beloved TV presenter Dom Littlewood immerses himself for 24 unpredictable hours in the most demanding and dangerous institutions in the United States. As Dom rides shotgun on these perilous and intense missions, he learns about what it takes to be one of America’s unsung heroes.

Dom explores various life-and-death professions ranging from the US Coast Guard to Texas cattle ranchers, expert paramedics and more. Each episode, he will meet a mentor who will guide him through this exhilarating experience as he walks a mile in their shoes by living, eating, and sleeping with them on the frontline.

Even in the craziest of situations, Dom keeps his trademark cool, charm, and curiosity as he learns from and befriends hard working Americans across these high-stakes professions and witnesses the mental and physical toll that these pros and their families must endure.

In each institution, Dom experiences the respect of the uniform, the dangers of their routine, the power of their vehicles and in the end, Dom gets feedback on his performance as a vital team member. Dom is a world away from his comfort zone, but through nerve-wracking encounters he forges bonds of respect with these courageous workers risking life and limb.
