A unique visual concept coupled with a rollercoaster of laughter and adrenaline BOOM!’s fresh approach packs the intellectual AND physical challenges of existing game shows into must-see event viewing for all ages. 

BOOM! delivers fierce tension and light-hearted humor in quick succession, extending the experience from the studio contestants to the at-home audience. Viewers can play along via a fun, cool app, neutralizing their own bombs in the certain knowledge that one mistake and it’s BOOM! for them!

Recently ranked fourth in K7’s Top 30 New Formats poll, BOOM! is one of KI’s most successful formats ever, with sales in 17 territories to date – including Cambodia (Bayon TV), Colombia (Caracol), Argentina (Telefe), the US (FOX), France (TF1), Chile (TVN) and Hungary (TV2)- and more than 2313 episodes of the series commissioned worldwide.

The original Israeli version was devised by Ido Rosenblum and went on to become the country’s highest-rated and most viewed game show launch EVER, reaching an average share of 38%, including a share among the younger 18-24 demographic that was 27.5% higher than average. BOOM! ignited the industry launching successfully in numerous territories including Spain, US, France, Cambodia and Argentina.

In Spain, BOOM! continues to be a huge hit for Antena 3, where the format has been re-commissioned for a fifth season. In addition to recently celebrating its 1,000th episode on-air, BOOM! Spain has also secured a Guinness World Record for the most consecutive wins on a TV game show – by a team called “Los Lobos” who, having clocked up their 300th win and a prize pot of 1,661,000 Euros in October 2018, are still in the game and enjoying their unbeaten winning streak!

In Italy, BOOM! has marked a turning point in the Italian primetime slot, tripling the average market share of Discovery Nove and beating its direct competitor, Sky-TV8. To date, over 400 episodes have been commissioned.

Having recently launched in the Philippines as a live stripped segment in GMA Networks’ hit TV variety series Eat Bulaga!, BOOM! Philippines has just been re-ordered for an additional 78 episodes via Television and Production Exponents (TAPE) to launch in 2019. GMA Networks is the first local partner to broadcast BOOM! live to date.
