Description
A dating format with a difference, this authentic and relatable docu-reality series gives a unique insider view on one celebrity’s real-life search for ‘the one’. With the help of a psychologist, local celebrity dancer, Anna is throwing herself into a journey of self-discovery and self-improvement, hoping that it will lead to her soulmate.
Anna appears to have it all - fame, beauty, and success. But, all this has not helped and perhaps has even held her back, in her search for the one thing she wants more than anything - true love.
As her journey begins, Anna leaves her familiar surroundings and urban life behind and meets 12 men on a series of blind dates. After each date, she meets the psychologist, who has watched the footage of the encounter, and together they analyze what happened, including her behavior throughout. With fresh insights and ‘homework’ given to her by the psychologist, Anna must then do her best to implement what she has learned.
Once the first dates are behind her, Anna has to choose who she would like to meet for a round of second dates. Again, the psychologist analyzes the encounters with Anna and guides her personal development at every stage. Finally, she goes on a weekend-long date with the man who she believes could be right for her.
At the end of the process, Anna must face the ultimate decision – will she choose to explore an ongoing relationship with the man she went on the weekend away with or will she end up going home alone?
The experience will expose Anna’s most intimate thoughts, worries, and dreams, proving that even well-known public figures face the very same problems that we all do. Throughout the series, viewers witness everything, from the dates to the intensive therapy sessions, as well as Anna’s overall personal evolution. They’ll follow every step of Anna’s 21-day quest, entirely from her perspective, as she focuses on quitting old habits and taking an in-depth look at why she’s been unable to find her one true love.
