Brilliantly simple and extremely addictive, The Search is a dynamic, fast-paced show that transforms the globally popular word search puzzle into a fun-packed physical game, guaranteed to put contestants’ knowledge, speed, and cognitive skills - as well as their ability to work together - to the ultimate test!

At the center of this ambitious studio-based game show is the iconic word search grid – presented not on traditional paper but displayed as an impressive real-life LED game board. This vibrant, large-scale grid is the contestants’ playing field throughout the game and is backed by big-screen dynamic visuals displaying all the action from the floor, ensuring viewers can easily play along at home.

The game starts with three pairs of contestants and is played across three rounds (in the 60' version, we start with four pairs and play four rounds) which change and evolve to increase in intensity and complexity. In the first two rounds, the pairs are challenged to answer trivia questions, collecting money for each correct answer. But it’s not enough for them to figure out the answer… they must also find it hidden on the game board, avoiding the "red herrings" and physically locking it in, all while the clock counts down.

The dynamic of each pair is crucial to their success - only by working together, physically and mentally, can they navigate their way through the grids. With one pair eliminated in each round, only one duo makes it through to the final challenge - the 81-square "super grid" – where they face five trivia questions. Each correct answer provides a vital clue to a shared theme. Find the all-important common denominator in time and they win all the money they’ve collected – but if they fail, they lose everything...

The answers might be right in front of them, but when the lights go down and the clock starts ticking, can they find them under the pressure of The Search? Lively, exciting, and visually engaging, this innovative game show combines all the fun of a word search with a dynamic, interactive experience - delivering perfect entertainment for all generations!

The format has been adapted in Uruguay for Canal4. Strong ratings prompted additional episodes to be ordered, with 70 episodes commissioned to date.

In Spain, The MediaPro Studio was commissioned by Aragón TV to produce a daily strip in the Fall of 2024, which has since been recommissioned for three seasons.
