Description
In Love Lab viewers are invited to observe as a new relationship is formed over the space of just one weekend - three consecutive nights. Six singles enter the lab - a secluded, plush loft apartment - where they are scrutinized by the opposite sex until the group is whittled down to one genuinely loved-up couple.
Starting with a group of four males and two females (or vice versa), the guys are subjected to some intense psychological testing, plus rigorous and challenging tasks, all of which are filmed and shown to the two female contestants by the show’s hosts. Having watched all the footage, by the time the singles meet face to face, the girls have a good idea of which of the guys they think they will like – but how will the chemistry go in person? At the end of the night the girls must eliminate two guys and invite the other two to spend the night with them in the romantic loft.
The next day two separate three-way dates take place (one girl each with two guys) and we see where there is a chance that love could blossom. At the end of the day the girls must agree on one guy they would like to invite into the loft. Once he is in, the tables are suddenly turned and it’s the guy who gets to choose his preferred love match out of the two ladies. On the third day the guy is given some previously unseen footage of the girls (which could change everything) to help him make his decision… then finally we get to see which girl will get her guy, and which will leave alone.
A quick-witted duo of hosts provides a running commentary of the weird and wonderful goings-on in the loft of love and viewers get to watch as it all plays out over three consecutive nights.
