Keshet International Latin America – Sales Manager
Keshet International (KI) is seeking a Sales Manager for its rapidly expanding Latin American business. The Sales Manager’s work base is flexible, but must be within the LatAm region (including in Miami).
KI is the distribution arm of Keshet Media Group, which includes a TV Broadcaster, Keshet Channel 2 (Israel), and outposts at Keshet Studios (LA), Keshet UK (London), and Keshet Asia (Hong Kong). KI packages and sells content from the Keshet catalogue of more than 70 properties into Latin America as well as acquires LatAm properties for worldwide distribution. There are a number of KI formats currently on air or soon to air in the Latin America including RISING STAR in Brazil (Globo), LOADED Mexico (Televisa), and BOOM! in Mexico (TV Azteca), Colombia (Caracol), and Brazil (SBT).
Reporting to the Head of Latin America, Kelly Wright, the Sales Manager will be required to successfully promote the KI catalogue to broadcasters across the region in line with sales targets. He or she will be tasked with selling scripted and entertainment formats as well as finished series, and negotiating their respective agreements. He or she should be skilled at gathering and analyzing market research, and also possess the ability to identify new commercial opportunities to expand KI’s business into new territories, platforms and avenues. This position is dynamic and has a fast growth and promotion track.
The Sales Manager will be flexible, able to travel as and when required to attend key markets and pitches. He or she will be a self-starters working under their own initiative across several time zones. He or she will have excellent interpersonal skills and a unique ability to create and maintain strong client relationships in order to grow the business’ LatAm foothold in line with targets and the regional business plan. Fluency in English and Spanish is a must, and a knowledge of Portuguese an advantage.
