Keshet International will be distributing both seasons of the US series internationally. The second season of Deal With It is slated to launch in 2014
TBS has renewed Deal With It with a 10-episode order for season two. Hosted by Theo Von (Primetime in No Time, Last Comic Standing, Road Rules), season one of the series has averaged 2.3 million viewers in Live + 7 delivery, including 1.2 million adults 18-49.
Deal With It is produced for TBS by Howie Mandel’s Alevy Productions, Roy Bank’s Banca Studio and Keshet Broadcasting, in association with Lionsgate Television. Howie Mandel (Deal or No Deal, Mobbed), Mike Marks (Mobbed), Roy Bank (It’s Worth What?, Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?) Keshet’s CEO Avi Nir, Keshet VP Programing Ran Telem, Igal Shilon, Ami Glam, Guy Vaserman and Itai Barkan serve as executive producers.
The show is based on an original hidden camera game show developed by Keshet and United Studios of Israel, and created by Keshet Broadcasting and Igal Shilon. It has been sold (via Zodiak Rights) to over 13 territories since early 2010 and has already aired in seven territories, including Canada, Germany, Turkey, Greece, Romania, Brazil and Peru. The format is under distribution by Zodiak (worldwide, excluding US).
Hosted by Theo Von, Deal With It is a hidden-camera prank show with the ultimate twist. Unsuspecting members of the public secretly will be recruited to pull a prank on their unwitting companions with absolutely no time to prepare. If they agree to participate, they must follow all instructions given through an earpiece from a secret control room nearby. With the opportunity to prank their way to cash and prizes, these everyday people will be shown no mercy as they are tasked with pulling off some of the most ridiculous behavior ever caught on hidden camera. Each week, different guest celebrities and comedians will be in on the fun, feeding ridiculous, hilarious pranks to the contestants. Among the guest stars are executive producer Howie Mandel, Joan and Melissa Rivers, Adam Carolla, Bobby Lee and Josh Gad.
