Hidden Camera Game Show Deal With It Commissioned for a Fourth Season

 MIP Cancun, 16 October, 2017 – Keshet International (KI) has signed a multi-format deal with free-to-air commercial TV channel, RECORD TV in Brazil, which will see its inventive quiz show format CONTACTS – all about who you know, not what you know – and the fourth season of its hit hidden camera game show DEAL WITH IT! adapted for local audiences. Both will be produced in house at RECORD TV.

Expanding our presence in Brazil with the brand new CONTACTS and a fourth season of Deal With It with RECORD TV reinforces the synergy in the tastes of Brazilian and Israeli viewers and Keshet’s commitment to continuing to provide fresh content for this trend-setting territory.”

The deal with RECORD TV follows a string of KI entertainment formats which have aired successfully in Brazil including BOOM! (a high octane game show which airs within the long-running Programa Silvia Santos on SBT), three series of the interactive talent show RISING STAR (Globo), the upcoming BOXED (Globo) and three series of the finished US version of Deal With It (Multishow). The BBC One remake of Keren Margalit’s family drama The A Word and Sayed Kashua’s The Writer have also aired successfully in Brazil on Globosat.

CONTACTS is the only quiz show that can deliver a jackpot to a winner who doesn’t know any of the answers because players must rely entirely on the knowledge of those in their mobile phone’s contact list. In a fast paced four minutes, contestants call their family, friends and colleagues to answer a wide array of general knowledge questions on their behalf.

In DEAL WITH IT! ordinary people, meeting someone for lunch/coffee or checking into a hotel, are identified by the show’s team and asked to play for a chance to win a cash prize. They are not told what they need to do but it could be weird, funny or crazy. The contestants are not allowed to quit or be figured out by whoever they are with.
